Loren L. AliKhan is an Associate Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.  She previously served as Solicitor General of the District of Columbia from 2018 to 2022 and as Deputy Solicitor General from 2013 to 2018.  Judge AliKhan has also worked at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, as a Bristow Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a Temple Bar Scholar in London, England, where she worked with Lord David Hope of Craighead, Deputy President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.  She graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and clerked for the Honorable Louis H. Pollak on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
