Professor Han's scholarship at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law focuses on First Amendment law and tort law. His work has been published in journals such as the New York University Law Review, Southern California Law Review, Emory Law Journal, William and Mary Law Review, and Wisconsin Law Review.

At Pepperdine, Professor Han teaches in the areas of First Amendment law, tort law, and criminal procedure. Before joining the Pepperdine faculty, he was an Acting Assistant Professor of Lawyering at New York University School of Law. He also practiced as a litigation associate with Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in San Francisco.

Professor Han is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School. After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Michael Boudin on the First Circuit Court of Appeals and for the Honorable David H. Souter on the Supreme Court of the United States.
