Rafael Porrata-Doria Inducted Into the Puerto Rican Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation

Rafael A. Porrata-Doria Jr. of Temple University Beasley School of Law has become a member of the Academia Puertorriqueña de Jurisprudencia y Legislación (The Puerto Rican Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation). Since its founding in 1985, the Academy has been dedicated to the promotion of research that contributes to law reform and progress in Puerto Rico.

Professor Porrata-Doria teaches Business Associations, Securities Regulation, International Commercial Transactions, Comparative Law, Contracts, Contract Remedies, Corporate Law, Law of the European Union, International Trade and Investment, Advanced Securities Regulation, and other courses in the areas of international and business law. He is one of seven scholars outside of Puerto Rico to be recognized by the Academy.
