Brian Lee is a professor of law at Brooklyn School of Law where his research centers on property and intellectual property, and the intersection between moral reasoning and economic analysis in the law. He serves as an Associate Reporter on ALI’s Restatement of Property project.

Prior to joining the Brooklyn Law School faculty in 2009, Professor Lee clerked for Judge Ralph K. Winter, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In law school, he was a Book Reviews and Features Editor for the Yale Law Journal.

At the Law School, he is affiliated with the Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law. Professor Lee has been an invited participant or commentator at the Philosophical Foundations of Property Law conference at University College London, the Private Law Workshop at Harvard Law School and the Private Law Theory conference at the University of Southern California. He has also presented papers before the Association for Law, Property, and Society; the Midwest Law and Economics Association; and the Intellectual Property Scholars Conference.
