Mary Tabor is a judge on the Iowa Court of Appeals, a high-volume, nine-member intermediate court of appeals that decides a wide range of civil and criminal law issues. Appointed to the court in 2010, her current term will end in January 2019.
Prior to her appointment, she served as Director of the Criminal Appeals Division of the Iowa Department of Justice from 1999 to 2010, and worked in the division from 1993. She was a staff attorney for the Office of the General Counsel, Federal Election Commission, from 1992 to 1993.
Judge Tabor is a member of the Blackstone Inn of Court and the Iowa State Bar Association.
