The Hon. Sarah Keeton Campbell

As the Special Assistant to the Solicitor General and the Attorney General in the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office since July 2015, Sarah Keeton Campbell drafts briefs and oral arguments in civil and criminal appeals in the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Tennessee Supreme Court, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  She drafts petitions for certiorari, briefs in opposition, and amicus briefs in U.S. Supreme Court.  Ms. Campbell also assists with litigation strategy and dispositive motions in trial-level litigation in state and federal court.  Her participation includes multi-state litigation and amicus efforts.  In addition, she drafts Attorney General opinions involving statutory interpretation and constitutional issues.

Sarah Campbell was an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, DC, from November 2012 to June 2015 and a summer associate from October 2010 to July 2011. In August 2009 thru August 2010, Ms. Campbell clerked for Judge William H. Pryor, Jr. at the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Birmingham, Alabama and from July 2011to July 2012 she clerked for Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr.
