The Annual Meeting Is Underway

The 2023 Annual Meeting opened this morning with a welcome from ALI President David F. Levi and the introduction of new ALI Director Diane P. Wood.

Eight project drafts will be presented to ALI membership this year, each with Sections that may be voted on for approval. The Annual Meeting website will include a complete daily update after each day’s adjournment. ALI members will receive a notification that this has been posted via email.

This year’s Annual Meeting also includes special panel discussions, organized by ALI’s 100th Anniversary Committee. Futures program discussions will focus on the ways that technology and innovation affect all aspects of our society, including human relationships, governments, institutions, access to justice, and the rule of law. While the history panel will look back on what the Institute accomplished in its first century.
