AALS Announced Nominee Recommendations
The Association of the American Law School (AALS) Nominating Committee for 2018 Officers and Members of the Executive Committee has recommended three leading scholars for leadership roles.
Student Misconduct Reporter, Harvard Law School professor Vicki C. Jackson has been recommended as nominee for President-Elect, and Gillian Lester, Dean and Lucy G. Moses Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, and Mark Alexander, Dean and Professor of Law at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, have been recommended as nominee to serve as Executive Committee Members.
In a statement, the committee said that it “is proud to recommend three individuals whose careers exemplify dedication to teaching, scholarship, and service to AALS and to legal education.”
The AALS committee will present the nomination at the second meeting of the AALS House of Representatives on January 5.
