Criminal Justice Talk at Brooklyn Book Festival
On Sept. 22 Brooklyn Law School hosted a talk about the criminal justice system in America entitled “Criminal Justice and Injustice In One of the Most Imprisoned Democracies In the World: America.” The discussion was part of the Brooklyn Book Festival, one of America’s premier book festivals and the largest free literary event in New York City.
The event, moderated by Michael T. Cahill of Brooklyn Law School, featured a variety of experts speaking on ideas to address criminal justice reform, including Rachel E. Barkow of NYU Law and author of Prisoners of Politics: Breaking the Cycle of Mass Incarceration.
