Gerard Lynch Delivers James Madison Lecture
Gerard E. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit delivered the 2019 James Madison Lecture at NYU School of Law on Nov. 4. His lecture was entitled “Complexity, Judgment and Restraint."
The Madison Lecture is the most important lecture series at NYU School of Law. Begun in 1960, the lectures are designed to enhance the appreciation of civil liberty and strengthen the sense of national purpose.
