Kenneth Gallant Named Ben J. Altheimer Professor of Law
Kenneth S. Gallant of the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law has been named the Ben J. Altheimer Professor of Law. The law school faculty unanimously conferred this honor.
Professor Gallant began his teaching career in 1984 as a visitor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Before joining Bowen in 1999, he taught at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he was the Director of Clinical Programs for nearly a decade. He currently teaches Criminal Law and Conflict of Laws.
Before entering teaching, Professor Gallant served first as a law clerk to the late Judge Samuel J. Roberts of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the late Judge Louis H. Pollak of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He served as a prosecutor and later as Attorney-in-charge for Special Litigation with the Office of the District Attorney of Philadelphia.
