Richard Hasen on U.S. Democracy and Voting
Richard L. Hasen of UCLA School of Law has published a guest essay for The New York Times titled “The U.S. Lacks What Every Democracy Needs,” discussing the U.S. Constitution and the right to vote. The article is adapted from Hasen’s upcoming book, A Real Right to Vote, available in February.
Hasen served as an Adviser for ALI’s Principles of the Law, Election Administration: Non-Precinct Voting and Resolution of Ballot-Counting Disputes, published in 2019. He currently serves as Co-Reporter for Restatement of the Law Third, Torts: Remedies.
