Sprigman Featured on PBS News Hour
Christopher Jon Sprigman of NYU Law School is prominently featured on the PBS New Hour report “How big data became a silent colleague for artists and designers.”
The piece examines artificial intelligence and big data mining within the global economy. In particular, how customer and user data is helping to drive creative industries is examined, including what data analysis does to inform artists and designers.
Professor Sprigman notes, “Human creativity has always been an incredibly risky endeavor as a business. If data can lower that risk, it makes creative endeavors easier to invest in, [and] potentially more rewarding.”
