Victoria Sahani Testifies on Third-Party Litigation Funding

On June 12, Victoria Shannon Sahani of Boston University School of Law testified before Congress as an expert witness before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet.

During the hearing, titled "The U.S. Intellectual Property System and the Impact of Litigation Financed by Third-Party Investors and Foreign Entities," Sahani discussed her academic research on third-party litigation funding. She is an internationally recognized legal scholar in arbitration law and third-party litigation funding law, and has 15 years of experience in international arbitration and more than 12 years of expertise in third-party funding.
