Cynthia Nance To Receive the AALS Ruth Bader Ginsburg Lifetime Achievement Award
Cynthia E. Nance of University of Arkansas School of Law is the recipient of the 2023 Ruth Bader Ginsburg Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of American Law Schools Section on Women in Legal Education.
"It was an amazing surprise and a terrific honor," said Nance in the announcement. "I'm still in shock, honestly."
The Ruth Bader Ginsburg Award honors an individual with a distinguished career of teaching, service, and scholarship of at least 20 years. Recipients are chosen for their impact on women, the legal community, the academy, and issues that affect women.
Nance will receive the award in January.
